Lenny Kravitz isn’t the only one with half-finished Michael Jackson songs lying around the house: Producer RedOne (Lady Gaga, Usher) says he’s got enough material from Las Vegas recording sessions with MJ in 2008 and 2009 to make up a full new album. There are no imminent plans for the material or anything, but until we hear otherwise, RedOne now has pole position in the race for first posthumous Jackson release. And before you get all skeptical over the potential of this or any other half-baked posthumous projects, be assured that, according to RedOne, the music is “good, really good.”
MGMT’s new album influenced by Lady Gaga and Kanye West
MGMT’s Andrew VanWyngarden says the band’s new album ‘Congratulations’ is partially influenced by Lady GaGa and Kanye West.
The album has been mixed and mastered and is set for release this spring. VanWyngarden said that some songs on it are about the duo’s reaction to fame. He admitted that as the band found success they became “the people we were making fun of” on 2007 debut album ‘Oracular Spectacular’.
American singer Lady Gaga has revealed in an interview with Barbara Walters on 20/20 that the rumour she is a hermaphrodite is nothing but a misconception. Gaga, 23, real name Stefani Germanotta, said that there are some big misconceptions going around about her, and that one of them is about her having a penis.
Blogger (and Lady GaGa’s friend) Perez Hilton announced via his website that Lady GaGa will be the opening act of the 2010 Grammy Awards to be held next Sunday (January 31) in Los Angeles.

Lady GaGa thanked fans on a concert for helping raising more than US$500,000 for Haiti relief on a single day (watch video above).
She announced yesterday (January 26) that the “GaGa for Haiti” day on Sunday netted half a million dollars for relief efforts in Haiti.
“On ‘Gaga for Haiti’ day, in just 24 hours, with very minimal marketing and planning, all the little monsters all over the world made over half a million dollars for Haiti relief, I know [merchandise firm] Bravado fell off their chair. … They couldn’t believe it. So let’s sing along for Haiti right now so that they can hear us.”
Lady GaGa’s label, Interscope Records, did not confirm the figures the singer reported.
GaGa also said she would be donating all the gross from the ticket sales made on the show in New York on January 24 (the “GaGa for Haiti” day).
According to MTV.com, GaGa half million figure comes as one of the top donations made by entertainment-related people added to the Friday night event “Hope for Haiti” raised more than $61 million for the earthquake-ravaged country. The “Hope For Haiti” album debuted at #1 on the Billboard albums chart with just 3 days of sales, and made history by becoming the first digital-only album to debut at #1.

Billboard.com: Another week, another milestone chart achievement for Lady Gaga!
The singer’s “Bad Romance” sets the record for most weekly plays registered in the 17-year history of Billboard’s Pop Songs radio airplay tally, as the cut logged 10,859 plays in the tracking week of January 11-17.
Airing on all 130 reporters monitored for the chart, “Bad Romance” received an average of 84 plays per station last week, or one spin every two hours on each panelist. “Bad Romance” reigns for a third week on Pop Songs, which, along with all Billboard charts, will be refreshed Thursday.
Lady Gaga’s smash passes the sum of 10,665 plays totaled by Leona Lewis’ “Bleeding Love” on the chart dated May 17, 2008. Here is a look at the titles that have notched the highest weekly plays totals on Pop Songs, a list that includes two tracks by Gaga:
